Synopsis :
Diagnosed with Stage IV thyroid cancer at 12, Hazel was prepared to die until, at 14, a medical miracle shrunk the tumours in her lungs... for now.
Two years post-miracle, sixteen-year-old Hazel is post-everything else, too; post-high school, post-friends and post-normalcy. And even though she could live for a long time (whatever that means), Hazel lives tethered to an oxygen tank, the tumours tenuously kept at bay with a constant chemical assault.
Enter Augustus Waters. A match made at cancer kid support group, Augustus is gorgeous, in remission, and shockingly to her, interested in Hazel. Being with Augustus is both an unexpected destination and a long-needed journey, pushing Hazel to re-examine how sickness and health, life and death, will define her and the legacy that everyone leaves behind.

My Thoughts:
This is a very difficult review for me to write for the simple reason that I loved this book so much that no review I write will possibly do it justice. This is an absolutely touching novel that actually made me cry( this rarely happens). I found myself cheering for all of the characters because they were all trying to overcome something and were easy to relate to, even if some of the characters weren't all that likable at times.
This book was very emotional and made me laugh and cry. It was the type of book that has you hoping that everything will be okay, even though you know it will most likely end badly for some of the characters.
The only problem in my opinion was that the book had no ending( seriously it just ended) but I think it might be because of a book that Hazel and Augustus read in the book ( of course this is my opinion and might not even be the case).
Even with the ending The Fault In Our Stars received a rating of 5 stars from me on Goodreads. Also this was my first time reading a John Green novel and I can honestly say that it has made me a fan and I look forward to reading more of his work in the future.
Happy Reading!!!
